New/old photos

I created these images last year for a specific project that never came to fruition. Because it fell through, I never ended up sharing them. I wasn't sure whether I wanted to keep going with it, or what to do with them. They didn't quite fit into my other series of work, but there aren't enough of them to create a new series on their own. When the project fell through, I felt so much disappointment that I wasn't excited to continue on with them at the time. So they've just sat there for almost a year now with nowhere to go. I've just pulled them back out and I'm now re-visiting the question of where to go- Do I just scrap them or try to re-visit them in some way? Either way, it feels like time to at least just put them out there.

I've also been sharing some stuff on my Facebook page that I haven't shared here or anywhere else, so if you want to see more, be sure to head over there and take a look!

M2R Trailfest Exhibition 2020

Could not have asked for better weather today to go check out the M2R Trailfest! I'm so excited to be a part of this exhibition again this year, and even though the opening day festivities didn't happen like last year, it was great to get some sunshine and fresh air while viewing a mile of public art (with plenty of space for social distancing!).

Thank you to the Marietta Arts Council for including my work in this juried show. I'm pleased to share four of my images from the series Microcosm Compositions with my community!

Come explore the mile long M2R Fence Gallery, featuring fine art and photography, on view now in Downtown Marietta along the Mountain to River Trail behind the Marietta Square. Exhibit is on display through July 9th, 2020, and will then travel throughout six cities in Cobb County until the spring of next year. More info. and upcoming schedule can be found here- https://www.m2rfence.com
