Most typical art supplies are filled with chemicals and synthetic materials. We can help to build a better world and healthier homes by using eco-friendly materials in our art. Charcoal, charcoal crayons, pigments, and paintbrushes are all handmade with mostly local, organic materials, and are responsibly sourced.
The charcoal medium is sustainable, earth friendly, and organic. Charcoal is an important material used in art for drawing and painting, as well as in everyday-use items such as cosmetics and medicines, water filters, and more. It's also the oldest known drawing medium and has a rich history across cultures. There's no need to worry if your child puts one of our charcoal sticks or crayons in their mouth!
Mica is a great natural (mineral) alternative to pesky glitter. Glitter is made of tiny pieces of plastic (and sometimes metal) which can harm our environment, water supply, and the animals in them.
