It's been a few years since my last real road trip. When I say "road trip", I'm referring to not just a drive to one destination, but multiple destinations with roadside stops along the way. This summer we went from Atlanta to Savannah, GA (+ Tybee Island), to South of the Border (SC/NC border), a stop in Durham, NC, to Winchester, VA, to Washington, D.C., to a quick stop across the West Virginia border, and then back to GA with another quick stop in NC.
This road trip was different since it was our first with a baby. She did pretty well, but did get sick of being in the car seat sometimes. The other thing that was different for me, was that this is the first time I have relied on my cell phone camera to record most of the trip instead of my SLR. While I did bring a D-SLR along, it only came out a few times since the phone camera was so much more practical when I was carrying around a baby, a diaper bag, and other baby-related items.
